Lisa P. (aka LP)
Throughout life, photography & fine art has been my passion. A degree in Photographic Design under the late Wiley Sanderson, known internationally for contributing to the revival of pinhole photography, cemented my love to capture images of living creatures, places & things. I’ve been collecting images since my college days at the University of Georgia in Athens.
While pursuing my major I discovered a love for painting, thanks to art classes under the internationally known American painter and filmmaker, James Herbert. His inspirational teaching methods & contagious love for painting made me want to learn & experiment more.
After detouring several decades in the technology industry, I have recently returned to focus on my passion: painting & photography. The concept for creating a business around my art surfaced while I was in Boulder, contemplating what my next adventure in life would be. “LPinthe303” was created from my nickname (LP) and my location at the time (303).
I often combine both photography & painting, blurring the lines of reality to create unique, original works of art that represent subjects that inspire me or hold a special place in my heart.
I live in the magnificent Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado and am an avid outdoor fan. Skiing, fishing, cycling … the list of amazing activities this beautiful place on earth offers is endless. I also love hiking & taking long walks with my two extra special rescue dogs: Morgan & Dozer. Rescue animals hold a special place in my heart. That’s another story for another time!
